Diego Costa to Speak at ‘Queering Paradigms’ Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Diego Costa will be presenting two talks at the Queering Paradigms IV Conference at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in Brazil. On Wednesday, July 25 at 4 pm, his paper on the figure of the transexual in the Brazilian imaginary is titled “O Que Nåo Dá, Chupa: The Male-To-Female ‘Homosexual’ As Star of the Brazilian Economic Boom.” On Thursday, July 26, at 4 pm, he speaks on the relationship between the digital and perversion with  “(Breaching) The Pervert’s Cont(r)act: The Barebacking Subject As The One Who Knows.” For the conference’s entire program click here.
